This Ruger manufactured first variation blue finished six shot fluted steel cylinder in 22 LR caliber is for the early new model Single Six single action revolver and is in very good condition with light wear. These early fluted cylinders have the larger singular recess for the entire back of the cylinder as opposed to the later variation cylinder which has six smaller individual recesses for the individual cartridges.  (file photo)
